My family Titcomb was living just south of this in Westminster VT. he lived further north prior to marriage and I am thinking that maybe this bridge was named after his family. I will try to do a little more work on this.
His name was James Titcomb and his daughter Elizabeth Titcomb married Alvin Dickinson in Westminster, VT.
I have approx 40 to 50 letters of James from the war of 1812. I also have a lot of the history on the VT Titcombs. Need to do some sluthing. Just found this today.
